EMS Long Block Rebuilds are offered in two configurations: Budget and BadAss.

The Budget Rebuild is designed for enthusiasts targeting up to approximately 550 WHP using proven components such as forged H-beam rods, Mahle pistons, ARP CA625+ head studs, and a balance shaft delete. Camshafts and upgraded valve springs are not included by default but are available as optional upgrades based on your specific performance goals. Despite the name, this is not a stripped-down or compromised engine. It is a fully engineered rebuild focused on reliability, efficiency, and real-world performance.

The BadAss Rebuild is built for higher power goals of approximately 700 WHP and beyond. It features upgraded rotating assemblies including Wiseco BoostLine I-beam rods, a keyed rotating assembly with pinned OEM crankshaft, ARP CA625+ head studs, and a balance shaft delete. Upgraded camshafts and valve springs are available as optional upgrades to support higher boost levels and more aggressive setups. This configuration is ideal for customers planning aggressive boost levels, track use, or future power growth.

Calling it “Budget” does not mean cutting corners. It simply means choosing the most effective parts combination for the intended power level. Both rebuilds receive the same EMS machining standards, assembly process, and attention to detail.

Important Notice: Damaged Parts Disposal Policy: Any damaged, worn, or unusable parts removed during the rebuild process will be disposed of by Engineered Motorsport Solutions (EMS) unless the customer specifically requests their return prior to the start of the build. EMS is not responsible for retaining or returning parts that have not been identified for return before work begins.

Estimated ship time is 12-16 weeks on most builds.

(All EMS Performance Engines are 2.3L stroker builds. By purchasing, you acknowledge that these engines are intentionally stroked from the original 2.0L configuration to 2.3L)
