Required upgrade for high-boost and big turbo EcoBoost builds exceeding the limits of the factory MAP sensor.

The EMS AEM 5-Bar MAP Sensor Kit is designed for Mustang EcoBoost builds pushing beyond the limits of the factory MAP sensor. When increasing boost pressure or upgrading to a larger turbocharger, the stock sensor can no longer accurately measure manifold pressure.

The factory EcoBoost MAP sensor maxes out at roughly 29 psi of boost, which limits how much boost the ECU can properly read and control. Upgrading to a 5-bar MAP sensor allows the ECU to accurately read significantly higher pressure levels, giving your tuner the data needed for safe and precise tuning on high-performance builds.
